The second West Grove Bake Off saw a wonderful level of involvement from our children and their families.
On 19th June a fantastic array of cakes and biscuits were delivered to the school hall by excited children. The entries came in all shapes and sizes and showed the amazing creativity of West Grove children, many of whom had obviously gone to a lot of effort making their delicious looking creations. The entries were judged in two categories, infants and juniors and the standard of the baked goods made it an extremely hard job for the judges. Our panel of judges consisted of four children from our school council, Sue our wonderful crossing patrol lady and Tom, one of our school Governors. After much deliberation the winners were chosen and they were all presented with rosettes at our Summer Fair. The cakes and biscuits also helped to raise money at our fair and were enjoyed by everyone who visited the cake stall. Thank you to everyone who took part.
