Since April 2010, the Council has implemented cashless payment systems for school dinners. The system used by West Grove is called ParentPay and the Council has ensured that it is totally secure with regard to the information stored about your child and the staff using this information are fully checked for their suitability to work with children.
This system has been very successful and West Grove are pleased to announce that with effect from 1st April 2018 the school will no longer be accepting cash or cheque payments.
When your child starts at West Grove you will be given details to enable you to access and fund your ParentPay account. You will also be asked to confirm that your child's photo can be taken and stored on the system used by the schools caterer (London Borough of Enfield’s Education Catering Service), to enable our catering assistants to identify your child and record the meal chosen by your child against your ParentPay account.
- For parents with internet access, you will be given log-in details to enable you to access the ParentPay website (www.parentpay.com). You will then be able to change your password, provide any additional information required and use a credit or debit card to pay for school meals, trips and activities. You may also combine the ParentPay accounts of all the children you have at West Grove, to enable you to pay for all their items in a single transaction.
- For parents of children eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or in receipt of Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM), you should not pay for your childs school meal. Your ParentPay account will be debited each day your child has a school meal and credited with the equivalent cash value. Corrections will be made on a monthly basis. Please note that it is the responsibility of parents whose children receive FSM to ensure that their FSM entitlement remains valid.
